Currently there are two HI-FOG® system configurations for manufacturing applications. Other configurations can be defined as needed based on project-specific requirements.
The main fire risk in paint booths is the highly flammable paint itself. The fuel is consumed quickly, leading to the most damage very close to the fire. However, one fire typically leads to another and another. Any combustible materials in the area are at risk. A fixed fire fighting system is needed to stop the fire from spreading, and preferably extinguishing the fire altogether.
The HI-FOG® system for paint booths provides protection for:
The system can be either a total flooding system or used as a local application system. Both configurations use HI-FOG® spray heads for discharging water mist. The pump unit can be either diesel driven or electric. If required, the system can be supplied with a detection and alarm system.
The main fire risk in fume hoods comes from the flammable liquids involved in the process and explosive chemical reactions. A fixed fire fighting system is needed that can respond very quickly to control and contain a fire.
The HI-FOG® system for fume hoods is configured to protect the ceiling of the fume hoods. The system consists usually of HI-FOG® spray heads and a gas driven pump unit. If required, the system can be supplied with a detection and alarm system.
