HI-FOG^® systems for power generation and distribution applications are generally used for total flooding. HI-FOG^® water mist is discharged quickly to completely fill the protected space. The space does not need to be sealed for
HI-FOG^® to deliver total protection.

HI-FOG^® accumulator unit solution

This solution is a pre-engineered, completely self-contained system that does not need an external water or power supply. It is approved for protecting spaces up to 260 m³ (9,175 ft³).

This solution can be used for gas turbines, wind turbines, generators and similar types of machinery. It comprises a water mist unit equipped with water cylinders that are powered by a pressurized air or nitrogen cylinder.

The HI-FOG^® Accumulator unit solution is available in different sizes. Depending on environmental conditions, insulation and heating systems can also be provided.

HI-FOG^® modular pump unit solution

This solution features a modular design allowing customized installation in spaces of different types and sizes. The water mist unit consists of an electric motor and two high-pressure pumps.

The solution is also equipped with a nitrogen cylinder and release valve for the control cabinet. The HI-FOG^® modular pump unit solution is designed for extended suppression times.

HI-FOG^® gas pump unit solution

This solution can be used for large gas turbines, generators and similar types of machinery. It is powered by pressurized nitrogen or air cylinders which drive a special pump that feeds water to the distribution network. The solution is approved for protecting spaces up to 1500 m³ (53,000 ft³).

Depending on environmental conditions, insulation and heating systems can also be provided.
