HI-FOG® for Ro-Ro vessels

HI-FOG® for Ro-Ro vessels and car carriers is fully approved in accordance with IMO MSC.1/Circ. 1272. HI-FOG® performance has been proven through thousands fo full-scale tests as well as many real-world fires.

As a high-pressure water mist system, HI-FOG® offers many advantages over conventional water and non-water-based solutions. HI-FOG® excells at fighting fire without requiring air-tight spaces. And because it uses pure water, HI-FOG® poses no risk to people or property.

Historically, fires resulting in significant property damage have been linked to problems with the main fire protection system. In some cases, the systems cannot activated due to open ramps. In others, critical release valves fail. The HI-FOG® system for Ro-Ro spaces eliminates both of these risks.
