HI-FOG^® systems for stations use similar components to building systems. What makes them special is that we combine our special knowledge from other application fields such as:

• electrical spaces (data centres)
• train protection (tunnels)
• transformers, back-up power units (machinery)
• platforms, shopping arcades (buildings)

A station installation can be simple or complex, consisting of sub-systems covering designated risk spaces. Sub-systems are connected by stainless steel tubing via selector valves to the centralised pump unit and water storage. Remote spaces can be protected by self-contained accumulator units.

The centralised electric pump unit is electrically-driven and dimensioned according the specific needs of the station. It incorporates a water supply tank and an emergency gas-driven pump unit in case of a power failure.
