HI-FOG^® systems

There are different HI-FOG^® system solutions available for protecting passenger trains depending on the expected fire scenario, required operation time and area coverage.

HI-FOG^® systems for trains use a fast-acting detection system, which normally reacts to both smoke and heat. The HI-FOG^® system can be configured for automatic activation or for manual activation by the train driver or a remote control centre.

Why HI-FOG^® water mist?

HI-FOG^® cools carriage interiors very effectively. The system’s high-grade stainless steel components are very durable: the system has a low lifecycle cost.

HI-FOG^® is a high-pressure system that uses water in the most efficient way. Water storage volume is low. The pump unit is very compact and the system tubing, made of high-quality stainless steel, is narrow in diameter.
