Career Story: Anna Jokilahti

Anna Jokilahti
Manager, Supplier Quality
Kerava, Finland

I’m Anna Jokilahti, a Master of Science in Environmental Technology and a Biotechnical Engineer, and I work as a manager for supplier quality at Marioff. When I was job searching back in 2010, I came across Marioff, which immediately interested me and the position on offer felt like my own.

I really appreciate Marioff’s truly international work place, where we have an atmosphere of openness, and the fact that the product is based on Finnish innovation.

At first, I was a process development specialist, after which I started to lead the land project team. A year and a half ago I transferred to my current role in the quality department. My job as supplier quality manager entails auditing together with the Purchasing team, certifying processes related to Marioff products, tracking of and developing the products’ quality and coordinating with our suppliers.

The best part of my job is that the work is versatile and I get to know other companies ways of working, too. I find that the motivation comes from seeing the development actions that we do take effect.

As a mother of four, I have not had a chance to take part in the many activities that Marioff organizes for staff after work, but I do value the culture and sports vouchers we get, because it means I get to go swimming, to the cinema or take my dog to agility practices!
