HI-FOG® is very flexible in terms of water supply due to the fact it uses such small amounts of water.

The water supply for an electrical or diesel-driven pump unit may be a mains feed or a water tank that can be dedicated to the HI-FOG® system or shared with other systems. Typically, a feed pump is used to add pressure to the inlet water flow. This provides the required pressure for the filter unit on the pump unit.

The water supply for HI-FOG® accumulator systems consists of water cylinders that are pre-filled with potable water.
