Marioff HI-FOG Fire Protection System to Protect Grand Tower Residential Building in Frankfurt am Main, Germany
Marioff today announced Germany’s tallest residential building, located in Frankfurt am Main’s Europaviertel district, is now protected by its HI-FOG® water mist fire protection system.
Soaring at a height of 180 meters, the Grand Tower boasts more than 400 apartments, including several penthouses, and is an impressive part of the Frankfurt am Main skyline. Marioff, a leading developer of water mist fire protection technology, is a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), the leading global provider of healthy, safe and sustainable building and cold chain solutions.
The HI-FOG system will help protect the Grand Tower’s apartments and technical areas, parking garage, retail shops, the grand entrance area with a height of 11 meters and a live show cooking area on the seventh-floor roof terrace. The project includes 18 kilometers of pipes, more than 5,000 HI-FOG sprinklers and technologically advanced Modular Sprinkler Pump Units (MSPU) to ensure 100% redundancy by the local codes and VdS standard for high-rise buildings.
