Marioff celebrates a record year: Strong growth, new talents and investments, and a robust path forward

Marioff is delivering the strongest year in its 40-year history, marking significant growth across all business areas. From the resurgence of the cruise industry to continued expansion in data centers, naval vessels, and aftermarket services, the company’s performance in 2025 highlights both operational excellence and the growing global demand for sustainable fire suppression solutions.

According to CEO Juha Ilvonen and CFO Juha Kuivalainen, Marioff’s performance in 2025 was exceptional for several reasons. The company experienced robust growth across all core segments, with cruise ship business exceeding pre-COVID momentum and strategic investments in the aftermarket, data center and naval sectors delivering strong results.

Marioff’s 40th anniversary added special significance to the year. We celebrated this milestone together with our global teams, customers and key stakeholders by bringing the Marioff 40 Roadshow to 18 locations across Europe, showcasing our heritage, innovation, and commitment to protecting what matters most.

“I am especially proud of the meaningful work we do. Every day, HI-FOG systems protect lives and safeguard high-value environments across the globe,” Ilvonen adds.

Another important milestone was the company’s full separation from former parent company Carrier. Marioff achieved complete operational independence during 2025—on schedule and without disruption to daily operations.

The company also strengthened its talent base by welcoming well over 100 new employees globally, reinforcing its engineering, customer support, and operational capabilities.

The company’s continued investments in its supply chain and manufacturing operations significantly strengthening Marioff’s ability to respond to growing global demand. Enhancements in processes and tools improved operational efficiency, while product development teams delivered world-class solutions for data centers, electric vehicle fire risks, and large machinery spaces, to mention just a few highlights.

Thanks to our loyal customers, customer satisfaction remained high, with strong NPS scores at 70+ reflecting Marioff’s solution-oriented and customer-focused approach.

Looking ahead, Marioff’s long-term potential is reinforced by major global shifts in fire protection.

Water mist technology is increasingly recognized as a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional sprinkler, foam or gas-based suppression systems.

Regulatory changes—such as PFAS restrictions across Europe and the U.S.—are opening new growth opportunities for environmentally sound solutions like HI-FOG.

From pandemic-driven market shocks to geopolitical tensions and high inflation, the 2020s have required resilience and adaptability. Marioff navigated these challenges successfully by expanding beyond our traditional European markets and developing new applications for water mist in critical infrastructure and marine sector. Through its annual Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process, the company maintains comprehensive mitigation and recovery plans to ensure long-term stability and success.
