The HI-FOG water mist fire protection system is suitable for most types of fires. It safely controls and suppresses fire by discharging a fine water mist at high velocity, using significantly less water than other fire protection systems. Immediate activation of the high-pressure water mist system minimizes the damage caused by a fire.
Unlike gaseous systems, HI-FOG is safe for the crew and can be released without evacuation. As the HI-FOG fire protection system uses a very small amount of water and is safe for people, it can be released for training and fire drill purposes, preparing the crew for real action.

Marioff and Rauma Marine Constructions to Deliver HI-FOG Fire Protection Systems to Finnish Navy
Marioff has signed a contract with Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC) to deliver its HI-FOG® water mist fire suppression systems for four Pohjanmaa-class corvettes, part of Finland’s Squadron 2020 project. These multipurpose vessels, being built by RMC for the Finnish Navy, will be equipped with Marioff’s Heavy Duty Electric Pump Unit (EPU HD) system to ensure fire safety in challenging conditions. The corvettes, designed for various warfare operations, are expected to be delivered by 2026 and operational by 2028.
