The HI-FOG high pressure water mist system utilizes the full potential of water to protect critical machinery and fight fire at the source, keeping damage and downtime to a minimum in the case of a flammable liquid spray fire, pool fire or a combination of these.
Using water effectively requires less from the building infrastructure, including the water feed, the fire water tank, drainage, space reservations and supporting structures.

Following a rigorous certification process, the HI-FOG has received an extended FM Approval to provide fire protection for combustion turbines and machinery with enclosures up to 2300m3. Gas turbine fire protection system
Gas turbines occupy their own fire hazard class according to the FM 5560 approval protocol. The test protocol considers the fire hazards related to gas turbines, as well as the risk of discharging water mist onto a hot gas turbine.
