Birka Line

Birka Lines’ newbuilding, a 1,800 passenger cruise vessel, can with good reasons be called the most environmentally-friendly vessel in the Baltic Sea. It fulfils DNV's Clean Design rule, as well as the Comfort Class rule, which secures a noiseless and vibration-free environment for crew and passengers.

The vessel's HI-FOG fire protection system ensures environmental friendliness by using pure fresh water in all areas. The HI-FOG system comprises 3000 nozzles in the accommodation areas and in the machinery spaces. Birka Lines’ new cruise vessel is being built at Aker Finnyards in Finland.
